Travel Time

So tomorrow, myself, my husband and four of my kids ages 12, 9, 4, 2, will be getting in our minivan and traveling to South Carolina. This is the first trip for our family all summer and boy am I excited and nervous as to how this will go. For me I have a disability, I have muscle weakness in my arms and legs which make it difficult for me to move around. I can barely walk, I need assistance getting up out of chairs, lifting heavy items. So I have no idea how this road trip for me will go. Its difficult to use the restroom because I need help getting on and off the the toilet and if I wait to long before going I will have an accident on my self. Lets just say Poise pads and Depends or Always have become a staple for me in my everyday life. Despite my disability, I still have to be a mom and my disability takes a back seat and I have to make sure myself, my husband and the kids are packed. I have to make sure we have snacks for the road as we are a traveling family and stopping to buy food can be costly. I have to make sure my house is cleaned before leaving as no one wants to come home to a dirty house. Pretty much everything is going to fall on me and I can barely take care of myself. Not to mentions we are more than 12 hours out from time to leave and I haven't even begun to to back for me, my 2 year old and 4 year old or my husband. Well he will do his in the middle of the night. I haven't even thought about well yes I have making dinner for tonight as I don't want to go downstairs because its a pain getting back up the stairs. But I need to make sandwiches and supervise my older kids with cleaning. Its so much to do and I have no desire to do any of it. Oh did I mention my 12 year old wants me to do her hair for the trip. My 9 year old and 12 year old are packed. Guess they are ready to go. I also have to be a wife and my husband will want his attention when he gets home and he will want dinner. How do I please everyone? It can't be possible. Well I guess I better get started on something. Wish me luck.
